Yesterday’s train failings gave me an unexpected day off and since the sun was shining I took the camera to the local wood. There are no bluebells just yet in the wood but give it a few weeks and some areas of the wood will be carpeted.
It also gave me a chance to have a play with theĀ Canon Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX that the lovely Clare bought me for Christmas.
Here’s the pick of the bunch from yesterday.
- Just following the path
- Look up
- Just a tree in the path
- Weird fungus
- A flower emerges
- Tree sapling
- More saplings
- Odd shape on a rotting tree trunk
- Rotting bark
- Gash in the middle of a live tree trunk
- Pine cone nestled amongst the leaves
- The only flower I found
- Another weird fungus
- Another weird fungus
- Ladybird
- More ladybirds
- Yellow lichen
- And a grey lichen
A lovely walk on a beautiful spring day with the camera. Will definitely be going back when the bluebells are out – I can’t wait.
